Why do I have the sinking feeling the prices of 944's are about to blow through the roof? It feels like the early 2000's, right before air cooled 911's blew up and you could find a good one for 5000-8000 bucks.

They already blew up in Euroland. 18-20k for good S2s, 22-25k for Turbos and forget about getting an affordable Turbo S. The base ones are still cheap-ish, but abundant too.
